Games Industry Biz's 'Best Places To Work' awards are a celebration of exceptional workplaces, and it marks our fourth time achieving this recognition, thanks to the votes of our employees and our work in supporting industry peers.
The ceremony took place at London's iconic BAFTA building, where our Studio Director, Nick Harper, and Marketing Manager, Jerreau Henry, accepted the award on behalf of Electric Square.
As a highlight of the evening, we showcased a video with insights from our talented team members, Associate Lighting Artist Beverly Gomes and Associate Character Artist Nioma Van De Steen, sharing their unique experiences at Electric Square. Beverly expressed, "Joining a company and immediately being told, 'Okay, we've seen your skills, here's the brief, tell us what you want to do, and you can do that'—having that creative freedom really makes it (Electric Square) a special place for me." Nioma added, "What I think makes Electric Square unique is the company puts a lot of emphasis on employee wellbeing. We get an allowance to do lots of fun stuff outside of work life like sports activities and arts and crafts—those kinds of things."
